Some Finishing Touches

I am getting close to the end of the work and I could not be more pleased with how everything is turning out. Especially considering the entire project has only cost about $3,000. Now that is almost unbelievable, but true. A little thought, some reuse, using natural processes, looking for the best prices, and a lot of hard work has really paid off.

Tonight I started the last little bit of pond area work I have left - the large pond edging and landscape.

And here it is...

The east side was made into an area where I can get close to the water to "go fishing" or to test the water.
You can also sit down and soak your feet.

Creating a raised wooden path and a small deck here on the west side.
