1677 cubic feet of dirt is about 62 cubic yards. That would fill approximately 300 wheelbarrows.

During a little rainy weather yesterday I got the chance to turn my compost pile. It was steaming hot.




And underneath the steam was what I was hoping for, "Black Gold".

I'll take the finished compost and screen it to remove the larger items and I will have the best soil amendment known to man. So, all grow beds are functioning and ready to go. The water is a little cloudy from the new rock so I think I will do a partial water change before I put in the new fish.
